I'm very respectful of the past, mindful of the peace in the present, but at the same time ... kind of obsessed with the future.  To add to that, a few years ago I took the Gallup's "Strength Finders" assessment and low and behold one of my top 5 attributes was "Futuristic" with the following description : "You are the kind of person that likes to peer over the horizon".
